Nancarrow Photography is located in Victorville, Ca and serves the High Desert and surrounding communities. Our studio is open Monday through Saturday by appointment only, and selected Sundays of every month. Nancarrow photography specializes in babies, children, families, seniors, and special events as well as some commercial work. To discuss commercial rates, please call so that an accurate quote can be given and sample work can be shown. My name is Kim, and I am most likely the person you are going to speak with when you call or email Nancarrow Photography. I began shooting professionally in 2006 and I am so thankful to my friends and family who were so patient to sit with me and let me bounce ideas off of them. Sometimes I would get ideas that sounded great, but weren't practical. Their honesty has kept me grounded. I am truly grateful to be supported in this endeavour of creating a business that allows me to enjoy going to work every morning! I love my clients too! I want all my clients to have a great portrait experience, from the first time I answer the phone all the way to the day your portraits are delivered to your hands. As a small business, we try to stay flexible and up to date on how to serve our clients in the very best possible ways.Occasionally we have hiccups, but its still all a growing process and will only make this business better in the long run. As for me personally, I am a wife to a wonderful man and mother to three very active children. If you come to the studio, you will generally see them or at least hear them roaming around. My oldest daughter is my on-location assistant and keeper of the calendar. She will go to events with me and handle the orders and the payments if we are doing on-location proofing and ordering. My younger daughter helps with setting up equipment and she is the idea machine. "Wouldn't this look good..." comes out of her mouth a lot. She is also one of my main lighting and posing model. My son was the one who trained me to work with difficult children who run away or seriously dislike having their picture taken. He is much better now, but it was my experience with him that made me a better little people person :-) My husband is the one who reminds me to not take on too much so that I don't get burned out. We fit very well together and if I have a bad day I know he will sit, listen, and not judge. Usually he can help me see what I could have done better. This is definitely a family business even though I am currently the only regular photographer. Everyone has something to contribute! When I am not shooting, I enjoy other hobbies and sports. I love to knit, its very relaxing and it allows me to stretch out and think. I also play softball in an adult league and I coach my younger daughter's softball team. My husband and I have been coaching since 2004 and its always so wonderful to see the kids grow in their skills and confidence. I enjoy coffee dates and visits with my friends, because life needs some great friends sprinkled in here and there!
And so now that you have heard all about me, I would love to hear about you and your family and what I can do to make your portaits great!
